Tub drained the water out really slowly and couldn't receive towels the next day and room key locked out hours before check out
What a pleasant stay! My room was clean and odor free. Everything in the room worked as it should. The bed was firm but comfortable. The room had apparently been recently updated and was modern and colorful. There was even a dehumidifier! The manager who checked me in was absolutely great. The hotel foot print is nestled in to the side of a hill that seems to shield it from the noise of the nearby roads so it was surprisingly quiet. Felt quite safe here as well.
King bed nice but only three little pillows, would have been nicer to have king pillows or extra regular pillows. Desk chair would not rise up very far so hard to use desk and chair would not stay up. Otherwise rooms were clean and service was great. Breakfast was only granola bars, apple and orange juice and instant grits. Pool was green and not maintained. Internet was not that good. Clean and cheap so overall good.
It was a decent room for the price. We were only there for 2 days. Clean room. One lamp not working, desk chair broke, both not needed. Enjoyed Vicksburg.
Front room staff are awesome & super friendly. We were stopping halfway on our road trip, definitely on a tight budget. I searched reviews & took a chance. This place is good for the price. The bathrooms are old & the shower heads need to be replaced & could use a deep cleaning BUT the rooms & bed are solid & clean. There is rusting on the metal handles & lamps but that from the moisture in the air due to the river. There are humidifiers in the rooms so they are trying! If you’re just stopping for the 1 night- it’s fine. Longer trip- eh might want to pay more for a different hotel- the pool is green, the area isnt touristy, there only granola bars for breakfast… so 1 night- good more than 1 night…. Ehhh
Turn BEFORE Captain D's, not after as Google Maps directions will tell you! You can see the drive on satellite view. As to the hotel, it was a bargain. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The Wifi was a bit sluggish but it was adequate for checking email and reading the news. The front desk staff were very courteous. I would stay again.

For the past four years, attending the Alcorn State University Football Game we always book to stay here. The price is a reasonable. and the rooms are clean. Customer service is always excellent and they make you feel at home. We love this hotel
